SATURDAY
We started out the morning with cereal and Saturday morning cartoons
Then we did a little cleaning...
Caitlin likes to use A LOT of windex to get those windows squeaky clean.
We could not wait any longer, we had to go to Aaron's work and hope that he was there.
We had to wait awhile so Caitlin got to sit in the front seat in the parking lot. She thought she was so big!! (Don't worry- she got back in her carseat when we were leaving)
We spent the rest of the night cuddling with Aaron and Caitlin talked his ear off (big surprise).
SUNDAY
Caitlin and I ignored the rest of the laundry and went to the park- or several parks to be exact. There is a park that is only a couple of blocks from our house so we went there first. It was a really cool park. There was a rock wall on the playground and swings made just for us. The breeze was wonderful.
Then Caitlin wanted to go to her school playground. She had to show me how to play on every piece of equipment there.
Then we had meatloaf for dinner. How can something with such a dumb name taste so good? I mean seriously, a loaf of meat. Come on.
MONDAY
I finally tackled the dreaded stack of laundry. I guess I decided I needed to work on Labor day instead of relax because it took ALL DAY LONG. How do we use so many blankets and wear so many clothes? My goodness I didn't think it would ever end. In between loads we made a strawberry cake with white frosting. (YUMMY!!)
