It's story hour

We are in the middle of what seems like monsoon weather yet my husband still got up bright and early to go fishing with one of his buddies. So, Caitlin and I have been lying around in our PJs all morning being silly girls. This morning she has been in the mood to tell me some of her stories. I love when she tells me stories, I am always on the edge of my seat listening to all of her details. Caitlin has one of those very creative minds. When she introduces a new character into her story you don't just hear:
"The girls name was Sally"
instead you hear
"Then the girl with beautiful long brown hair walked in. She had her hair in pigtails and was wearing a purple dress with pink flowers and a big bow that tied in the back. She borrowed her sister's high heeled shoes and was carrying her favorite blue purse with her lipstick and phone inside. Her name was little Sally Walker." (and she will go on and on)
-- when she is in the mood to tell a great story, she becomes the most exhilarating story teller you have ever been around. (even though the plot is usually a bit extravagant) If you notice, Sally had a sister. She almost always makes sure the characters have siblings. She also adds all of her favorite aspects (purse, high heels, phone, lipstick, etc) and usually the girls finds their prince charming, get married, and have cute little babies.

When Caitlin grows up...

Caitlin has her whole life planned out. When she grows up she will be married to a handsome boy and she will have 3 jobs:
  1. police officer
  2. teacher
  3. veterinarian
Her husband's career choices will be
  1. police officer
  2. teacher
They will also have 2 kids (1 boy and 1 girl), 1 teeny tiny doggy, and 2 teeny tiny cats. She would also like for Kya and Remi to still be alive (they are 8ish years old now so I don't think that will happen)

I don't know how they are going to work all of those jobs simultaneously but with her creative mind, I am sure she can figure it out.

I am still alive!!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've blogged. I looked back and apparently nothing worthwhile happened in February or March. Well- that is completely wrong. I have just been so busy with, well, LIFE!!

At work I seem to have zero spare time ( I used to blog during my "smoke break" ( I don't smoke so I take an Internet break while everyone else is outside) and/or lunch but those seem to be diminishing as well.

Daylight savings time has turned my household's lives upside down. For some reason we all go to bed really really early now- I guess our bodies think the time changed about 2-3 hours and not just the one hour.  So my late night blogging has also stopped.

I just wanted to let all of my wonderful followers (all 9 of you) that I am still alive and I will get back into the swing on things before too long. I have not stopped my photo obsession so I at least have the last few months documented. So, until I find a little bit of time- we are all healthy, happy, and looking forward to Spring!!
