Chopstick Tree

I try to be crafty with my daughter and sometimes her mind goes into overdrive and she creates something I would never think of.

This particular craft day started out with me wanting a simple project she could do herself while I worked on some of my sewing projects that I have to finish before Christmas (because they might just be presents). I bought pipe cleaners and red and white beads. I showed Caitlin how to make a candy cane ornament and she said she could take it from there.

She started out with these:

And then I look up and see all of these things all over the tree...

She would sit (all quietly) on the floor and create at least 10 at a time.

And then...

What a little stinker!!!!

 As you can see... the dogs were so excited during this particular craft time. 

I don't know how they can sleep through all of the racket she makes.

Aaron did not appreciate the uniqueness of chopstick tree and took most of them off. It looked pretty crazy.
