We are in the middle of what seems like monsoon weather yet my husband still got up bright and early to go fishing with one of his buddies. So, Caitlin and I have been lying around in our PJs all morning being silly girls. This morning she has been in the mood to tell me some of her stories. I love when she tells me stories, I am always on the edge of my seat listening to all of her details. Caitlin has one of those very creative minds. When she introduces a new character into her story you don't just hear:
"The girls name was Sally"
instead you hear
"Then the girl with beautiful long brown hair walked in. She had her hair in pigtails and was wearing a purple dress with pink flowers and a big bow that tied in the back. She borrowed her sister's high heeled shoes and was carrying her favorite blue purse with her lipstick and phone inside. Her name was little Sally Walker." (and she will go on and on)
-- when she is in the mood to tell a great story, she becomes the most exhilarating story teller you have ever been around. (even though the plot is usually a bit extravagant) If you notice, Sally had a sister. She almost always makes sure the characters have siblings. She also adds all of her favorite aspects (purse, high heels, phone, lipstick, etc) and usually the girls finds their prince charming, get married, and have cute little babies.
